There was a time in my life when I would have been so ashamed to post a picture such as this one because I literally hated my curves! I would have given anything to be 5’6″ and a model size 2. I resented the fact that I couldn’t wear many of the fashion trends because they didn’t compliment my shape. Boy have times changed!!! Today, I couldn’t be more proud to post this picture because I love everything about the woman in this photo…I’m not perfect but I have a huge heart and a sincere love for people. I am smaller now than I was then, but this picture is a true reflection of who I am.
As women, how often do we cringe when we look at photos of ourselves⁉️ Allot. What I found out was that if I loved me, I gave others permission to love me too. But if I had a hard time loving me, then I shouldn’t be surprised when other people followed suit. My point is simple: it always starts with you! How we feel about ourselves is reflected in the energy we attract from others. I don’t care whether you are a size 0 or a size 22, you are worthy of love. #AsIs. Understanding that your value as a woman is far greater than what you look like, your size or weight will change your perspective on life for the better!
I made a decision to live healthier so I exercise regularly and eat better but I do it because it is the right thing to do, not because I’m trying desperately to be something I’m not, thin! We are on a mission in #Organo to #ShakeThingsUp but always remember, real change starts on the inside and radiates out!
